I was fortunate to be part of a great short film that was released last year called SHOW ME. It stars Michelle Gardner and Karl Herlinger, and was directed and edited by David Schneider. The screenplay was also by Karl Herlinger. It’s a very unique short film. It incorporates the essence of Karl’s ventriloquism, but he doesn’t do that Jeff Dunham over-the-top caricature crap. I’m talking real characters with real emotions — and way creepy. Michelle Gardner gives a great turn as Karl’s wife and partner, and well, a bit of the a turn of the knife, as you’ll see. She also made for a pretty great producing partner on the project. It was shot by Jon Aguirresarobe, with the support of Pawel Pogorzelski. They do incredible work together and I’d trust them on anything I shot. All in all, we were able to pull together an incredible group of people and I couldn’t be more proud of our results.
I’d worked with most of these people prior, through a film collective I was a part of, called Fewdio. But more on that later.
Take a look at SHOW ME and let me know your thoughts.
