My name is Todd Sharp, and I am a camera junkie. There, I said it. There's no taking it back now. I've been this way for the better part of my life. Mostly, I'm in love with the cheaper cameras that many have forgotten. They all have some sort of tick or quirk, the old cameras. But to me, that's all the more reason to love them.
This is one of my favorite little rangefinders - the Yashica Electro 35 GTN. An all-black aperture-priority Yashica film camera that was built in the early 70s, and was the next in a series of Electro 35 aperture-priority cameras from Yashica that started in the mid 60s.
I think I bought this one for $10 or $15. Cleaned it up a bit. Inserted a new battery. Loaded a roll of film - Arista black & white 400. Voila! This is my very first roll through this one. I'm a big fan.
